Prior to joining LPK, Don worked for a civil litigation firm where he successfully litigated labor law and aviation cases in the state and federal courts of New York. Don also clerked for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Hon. Joan M. Azrack of the Eastern District of New York.
Don received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2005, graduating as a Carswell Merit Scholar. While at Brooklyn Law, Don was a Dean's List recipient, a member of the Moot Court Honor Society's trial division, the Speaker of the Student Bar Association, and Chapter President of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (nka American Association for Justice). He also volunteered with Sanctuary for Families and the Domestic Violence Division of the Kings County District Attorney's Office.
Don graduated from Columbia University in 2001 with a degree in Economics and Political Science. While at Columbia, he was named the Schwartz Merit Scholar for high achievement in academics and athletics (baseball), and served on the University Senate.
Don is an active member of the New York City and State bar associations. He has lectured on trial techniques at Brooklyn Law and Seton Hall Law, and has authored an article on jury verdicts entitled Analyzing Inconsistent Verdicts in Products Liability Cases, 73 Def. Couns. J. 46 (2006).
